We're pleased to announce that Prewitt & Associates has joined Cox|McLain Environmental Consulting, Inc. One of the first private firms in Texas to focus on archeological and historical research in service of regulatory compliance for infrastructure development, Prewitt & Associates has been known for sound research, clean writing, and thorough reports for four decades.


Our combined cultural resources program now includes 15 full-time archeologists and 7 full-time historians, all focused on providing sound archeological and historical research. The added capacity and expertise will enable our team to support more public and private developers in building for the future, while respecting the past.

Cox|McLain Environmental Consulting Inc. (CMEC) is a HUB/DBE/WBE-certified environmental consulting firm founded in 2007 with offices in Dallas, Houston, and Austin, Texas and Tulsa, Oklahoma.
