Cox|McLain Environmental Consulting Inc. (CMEC) is a HUB/DBE/WBE-certified environmental consulting firm founded in 2007. CMEC is TxDOT Pre-Certified in 24 categories ranging Hazardous Materials Assessments to Systems Planning and ODOT prequalified in EC1815 – Environmental Studies Services for Non-federal projects.

We have staff members who are 30-hour and 10-hour OSHA Certified for Construction and HAZWOPER 40-hour Certified. Additionally, we have an experienced staff of certified wetland scientists who have completed training based on the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Wetland Delineation guidelines. Our staff also holds certifications from professional organizations such as the Society of Wetland Scientists, Ecological Society of America, The Wildlife Society, The Register of Professional Archaeologists, and American Institute of Certified Planners.
